TO THE TEXAS WATER DEVELOPMENT BOARD AND
THE TEXAS WATER QUALITY BOARD
TO PURCHASE BONDS
IT IS HEREBY DECLARED. AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS:
I
That the City of Friendswood, Texas, make application to the
Texas Water Development Board and the Texas Water Quality Board
to purchase $250 ,000 voted Sewer Revenue Bonds as authorized by
Senate Bill 847, Regular Session, Sixty-Third Legislature, State
of Texas.

That James C. Morgan, City Manager of the City of Friendswood,
Texas, be appointed Official Representative for executing the •
Application to Purchase the $250 ,000 voted Sewer Revenue Bonds,
and that James C. Morgan be appointed Official Representative
for any and all appearances before the Quality Board or Devel-
opment Board in connection with said Application.

That it be officially found and determined that the need- to
secure action upon the sale of the bonds and the financing' of
the sewer improvements as quickly as possible creates an emer-
gency and an urgent public necessity for the holding, at the
scheduled time, of the meeting of the City Council at which

this Resolution is adopted and for the adoption of this Reso-
lution; and the NOTICE OF MEETING relating to said meeting and
heretofore posted by the City Secretary, and the posting there-
of, is hereby authorized, approved, adopted, ratified, and con-
firmed.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 15th day of October, 1973.
