Resolution R2008-33: A resolution of the City of Friendswood amending R2008-15 calling the general election. This Resolution is to amend the original Resolution calling the election to substitute new names for judge and alternate judge for Harris County for the May 10 general election. Attachment 1. Resolution R2008-33 2. Resolution R2008-34: A resolution of the City of Friendswood approving a partial release of easement for 3024 Bridle Path Lane. This Resolution authorizes the partial abandonment of a 15-foot wide utility easement at the rear of the property at 3024 Bridle Path Lane. This is to alleviate the issue of the house under construction encroaching into the utility easement by nearly four feet. The property owner requested this solution to the issue, which requires "no objection" letters from all utilities. A temporary arrangement for the provisions of utilities for construction until the release is filed has been agreed to by the owner and staff, after a review by the City Attorney. No certificate of occupancy will be issued until the release process is completed, which will be as soon all "no objection" letters are received by the City. Attachments 1.
