This signage is to alert motorists of locations where shared use of the roadway by pedestrians may occur. Ordinance 300 should be amended to reflect the proposed changes outlined above and per the attached descriptions and diagrams. Due to some striping projects going on around the city, the Friendswood Junior High school has received a new painted crosswalk. This crosswalk stretches across Falcon Ridge Blvd, directly ahead of Arbury Hill Ln. To accompany this new crosswalk the city has installed two pedestrian warning signs to provide both visual signage as well as support to the new stripping. This signage is recommended to alert road users of locations where shared use of the roadway by pedestrians may occur. Ordinance 300 should be amended to reflect the installation of two new pedestrian warning signs in order to support the police department in enforcing it. Figure 1.
