MURR of the County of ___________ , State of Texas, hereinafter referred to as Granters, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE ($1.00) DOLLAR to Grantees in hand paid by the City of Friendswood, Texas acting by and through the City Council of the City of Friendswood, Texas, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and for which no lien is retained, either expressed or implied, have this day Sold, and by these presents do Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey unto the City of Friendswood, Texas all that certain tract or parcel of land in Galveston County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: COMMENCING at the North corner of Lot Fifteen (15), Block Five (5) of Friendswood Subdivision out of the J.R. Williams League in Galveston County, Texas, according to the Map of record in Vol. 238, Page 14, in the office of the County Clerk of Galveston County, Texas, and also in Vol. 254, Page 37 in the Deed Records of Galveston County, Texas, which point is in a center line of a 40 foot road and center line of original 60 1 foot road which now comprises a part of F.M. Highway 518; THENCE South 43 ° 35' East along and with the Northeast line of Lot Fifteen (15) a distance of 20 feet; THENCE South 46 ° 25 1 We·s:t and parallel with the Northwest line of Lot Fifteen (15), a distance of 48 feet to the BEGINNING CORNER of the tract herein described; THENCE continuing South 46 ° 25 1 West and parallel with the Northwest Line of Lot Fifteen (15), a distance of 222 feet to a point for corner; THENCE South 43 ° 35' East and parallel with the Northeast line of Lot Fifteen (15), a distance of 10 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 46 ° 25 1 East and parallel with the Southeast line of said 40 foot road, a distance 6f 222 feet to a point in the Southwest right­of-way line of said F.M. Highway 518; -1- THENCE North 43 ° 35' West and parallel withthe Northeast line of Lot Fifteen (15), and along the Southwest right-of-way line of said F.M. Highway 518, a distance of 10 feet to the place of BEGINNING; AND BEING 2220 Square Feet, more or less. Granters reserve all of the oil, gas and sulphur in and under the land herein conveyed but waives all rights of ingress and egress to the surface thereof for the purpose of exploring, develop­ ing, mining or drilling for same; however, nothing in this re­ servation shall affect the title and rights of the City to take and use all other minerals and materials thereon, therein and thereunder. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises herin conveyed together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in any wise belonging unto the City of Friendswood, Texas, its assigns forever; and Granters do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, to Warrant and Forever Defend all and sing�lar the said premises herein conveyed unto the City of Friendswood and its assigns against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
