That we , HARRY K. DAVIS and wife, jOANNE B. DAVIS,
of Galveston County, Texas , in consideration of the sum of

and other good and valuable considerations,

receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and in further consideration

GULF COAST INVESTMENT CORPORATION, , receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, which said sum was paid to the grantoZ at the
special instance and request of the grantee hereinafter named, to
evidence which sum so borrowed the said grante!� s, WILLIAM T. STILL
and wife , MARY J. STILL , ha ve executed their Promissory note of
even date herewith for the sum of TEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY

DOLLARS, payable to the order of GULF COAST INVESTMENT CCRPCRF.TION,
at Houston o Texas, bearing interest at the rate of 5-3/4 %
per annum from date until maturity, past due principal and Interest
to bear interest at the rate of 5-3/4 % per annum from maturity until
paid; principal and interest being payable in monthly Installments of
SIXTY-ONE AND 61/100 ($61 .61)-- -- DOLLARS, each, including n-
terest, payable on the First day of each .and every mouth hereafter,
commencing on the 1st day of March , 19 61 , and con-
tinuing until the whole of said sum, principal and interest, has been
fully paid, except that the final payment of principal and interest,
If not sooner paid, shall be due and payable on the 1st day of
February , :9 91 ; said note containing the usual provision
for 10,E attorney°s fees, and being secured by a VENDOR'S LIEN herein
and hereby expressly retained in favor of the holder thereof on the
property hereinafter described, and also by a DEED OF TRUST thereon of

further security for the payment thereof, the superior title is here-
by transferred and conveyed to GULF COAST INVESTMENT CORPORATION,
