Subject: Old Choate Road Bridge at Friendswood
Dear Kyle:
I have a copy of the letter of November 14, 1969 written to you by Mayor Ralph
Somers of the City of Friendswood requesting permission to remove the old Choate
Road Bridge across Clear Creek in Friendswood near the new bridge on FM 2351.
Based on the request from the City of Friendswood the Galveston County
Commissioners' Court would appreciate it very much if you and the Harris County
Commissioners' Court would give Friendswood the authority to remove this bridge.
Galveston County will assist the City in handling this matter, but cannot proceed until
your approval is received.
Thank you very much for your assistance in this matter.
Very truly yours,
4'.
