EASEMENT
That Mrs. Joseph E. West, Jr. hereinafter called
"Grantor," for a good and valuable consideration, paid
by the City of Friendswood, of the County of Galveston,
Texas, hereinafter called "Grantee," does hereby grant,
sell, and convey unto Grantee an easement and right-of- .
' 1 way upon and across the following described property of
the Grantor: A 10 ft. wide permanent public right-of-
way across Lots 25 and 13 of the Voss Subdivision, Sarah
McKissick or J. R. Williams League, Abstract 151, Galveston
County, Texas.

BEGINNING at a point for the most northerly corner of this
easement being described, said point being S. 43 35 ' W.
along the southeasterly right-of-way line of F.M. 528 a �.
distance of 10. 00 feet from the intersection of said south- s'
easterly right-of-way line of F.M. 528 with the existing
southwesterly right-of-way line of Winding Way;
THENCE S. 46 ° 25 ' E. 10 feet from and parallel to the existing -
southwesterly line of Winding Way a distance of 1059 . 0 feet
to an angle point;
THENCE S. 36° 13 ' 02" E. a distance of 254. 13 feet, more or
less , to a point in the northwesterly line of Leisure Lane;
THENCE S. 43 ° 28' W. along said right-of-way line of Leisure
Lane a distance of 10.16 feet to a point for the most southerly
corner of this tract being described;
THENCE N. 36° 13 ' 02" W. a distance of 255. 06 feet more or
less to an angle point;
THENCE N. 46 ° 25' W. parallel to and 20 feet from the existing
southwesterly right-of-way line of Winding Way a distance of
1058.11 feet to a point in the southeast right-of-way line of
F.M. 528 for the northwest corner of this easement being
described;
THENCE N. 43 ° 35' E. along the right-of-way line of F.M. 528
a distance of 10. 00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING, and
containing 0. 3015 Acres of Land.

The right-of-way, easement, rights, and privileges herein granted
shall be used for the purpose of placing, constructing, operating,
repairing and maintaining pipelines for the transmission of water and
sewerage.
The easement, rights, and privileges herein granted shall be
perpetual. Grantor hereby binds himself, his heirs, and legal repre-
sentatives to warrant and forever defend the above described easement and
rights unto Grantee, its successors, and assigns, against every person
whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
The easement, rights, and privileges granted herein are exclusive,
and Grantor covenantu that he will not convey any other easement or con-
flicting rights within the area conveyed by this grant.
This instrument shall be binding upon the heirs, executors; admini-
strators, successors, and assigns of the parties hereto.
In addition to the easement, rights, and privileges herein conveyed,
Grantee shall have the right to use so much of the surface of the hereto-
fore described property of Grantor as may be reasonably necessary to
construct and install within the right-of-way granted hereby the
facilities contemplated by this grant. Upon the completion of such con-
struction and installation, Grantee shall replace and restore all fences,
walls, or other structures which may have been relocated or removed
during the construction period, and Grantee shall pay Grantor reasonable
compensation for such fences, walls, or structures which may not be
replaced.
