§ KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
COUNTY OF GALVESTON §
That I , R. D. WITHROW .for and in consideration of the sum
of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1 , 000) cash to me in hand paid by the
CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged ,
and for the further consideration of the construction by the
CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD of a certain concrete driveway extention,
pursuant to an engineer' s drawing, a copy of which is attached
hereto and marked as Exhibit A, have GRANTED, SOLD, AND CONVEYED,
and by these presents to hereby GRANT, SELL , AND CONVEY unto the
CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD , a municipal corporation situated in the
counties of Galveston and Harris , Texas , a public roadway and
street easement in, over , under , across , and along all that
certain piece , parcel , or tract of land situated in the County
of Galveston, State of Texas , and being more particularly des-
cribed as follows :
Being a certain 0 . 02 acre tract of land , said 0 . 02 acres
being the most westerly 0 . 02 acres of Lot 3 , Block 5
being out of the Sarah McKissick Survey , Abstract 151 ,
out of Galveston County, Texas and described more fully
by metes and bounds as follows :
BEGINNING at a point in the centerline of Castlewood
Avenue , said point also being the most westerly corner
of the aforementioned Lot 3 , Block 5 , out of the Sarah
McKissick Survey Abstract 151 ;
THENCE N. 43° 35 ' E . along the centerline of Castlewood
a distance of 88 . 03 feet to a point ;
THENCE S . 30° 47 ' W. a distance of 90 . 27 feet to a
point in the southeast right-of-way line of Castlewood
and the northeast right-of-way line of Merriewood;
THENCE N. 46° 25 ' W. along said northeast right-of-way
line of Merriewood a distance of 20 . 00 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING, and containing 0. 02 acres of land,
more or less .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement unto the
CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, its successors and assigns forever , and I
do hereby bind myself, my heirs , executors , and assigns to
warrant and forever defend the said easement and right unto

the CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, its successors and assigns , against
each and every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim
any part thereof.
