0 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
COUNTY OF GALVESTON 0
THAT WE, WILLIAM B. WHITE and wife, BETTY WHITE, for
and in consideration of the benefits to be derived by us from
the use of improved roadway access to our property and for
the further consideration of the abandonment and conveyance
to us by the City of Friendswood of certain property formerly
granted by us to the city for use as right-of-way for Castle-
wood Avenue, do hereby grant, convey and dedicate to the City
of Friendswood, Texas for utility purposes forever, a certain
tract of land, being more particularly described as follows :
COMMENCING at a point in the Northeast line
of the W.B. White Tract out of Lot 1, Block
5 , Friendswood S/D, which point is in the
Southeast line of an original 40 foot road ;
THENCE S 45° 00' W, along said line of said
road, a distance of approximately 113 feet;
THENCE S 45° 00' E a distance of approximate-
ly 2 feet to the beginning corner of the ease-
ment herein described , said point being in a
proposed right-of-way line of relocated
Castlewood Avenue ;
THENCE in a Southwesterly direction, parallel
to the existing sanitary sewer pipe in said
easement, a distance of approximately 47 feet
to a point opposite an existing manhole , said
point being an angle point in said easement
line;
THENCE in a southwesterly direction, 5 feet
southeasterly from and parallel to an exist-
ing sanitary sewer pipe, a distance of 187
feet, approximately, to a point in said pro-
posed re-located right-of-way line of said
Castlewood Avenue;
THENCE in a northeasterly direction, along said
right-of-way line to the place of beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described tract unto the City of
