KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS .
COUNTY OF GALVESTON 0
THAT WE , W. B. White , and wife Betty L. White , of the
County of Galveston, State of Texas , for and in consideration of
the sum of TEN and no/100 ($10 . 00 ) DOLLARS , and other good and
valuable consideration, in hand paid by the City of Friendswood ,
a City Municipality, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged ,
have GRANTED, SOLD, AND CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT,
SELL, AND CONVEY, unto the said CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD , of the County
of Galveston, State of Texas , all that certain parcel of land
lying and being situated in the State of Texas , County of Galveston,
and being more particularly described as follows , to-wit :
FIELD NOTES ON 0 .124 acres more of less of
Lot 9 , Block 3 , Friendswood Subdivision of the
J. R. Williams or Sarah McKissick League
Galveston County, Texas , described by metes
and bounds as follows ; to-wit :
Commencing at the East corner of Lot 9 , which point is
also on the Center Line of an abandon 40 ' county road, thence
Southwest along the Southeast line of Lot 9 , which is also the
center cline of the abandon county road , to the place where the
center line of Coward ' s Creek intersects the Southeast line of
Lot 9 , to point for corner, THENCE , in a Northwesterly to North-
easterly direction , along the meanderings of the center line of
Coward ' s Creek, to a point where the center line of Coward ' s Creek
crosses the Northeast line of Lot 9 to point for corner, THENCE
Southeast along the Northeast line of Lot 9 to the East corner of
Lot 9 and the place of beginning , said tract containing 0 . 124 acres
more or less .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises , together
with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in any-
wise belonging unto the said City of Friendswood, or their heirs
and assigns forever and we , W. B. White and wife Betty L. White do
hereby bind ourselves , our heirs , executors and administrators to
WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND , all and singular the said premises unto
the said City of Friendswood, or their heirs or assigns , against
every person whomsoever lawfully claiming , or to claim the same or
any part thereof .

COUNTY OF GALVESTON 0
BEFORE ME , the undersigned a Notary Public in and for
Galveston County, Texas , on this day personally appeared W. B.
White and wife Betty L. White , known to me to be the persons whose
names are subscribed to the foregoing instrument , and acknowledged
to me that they executed the same for the purpose and consideration
therein expressed . And the said Betty L. White wife of the said
W. B. White having been examined by me , privily and apart from her
husband, and having the same fully explained to her, she , the said
Betty L. White acknowledged such instrument to be her act and deed,
and declared that she had willingly signed the same for the pur-
poses and consideration therein expressed, and that she did not
wish to retract it .
Given under my hand and seal of office this day of
March, 1979 .
