COUNTY OF GALVESTON ) KNOW ALL MEN BY 'III ESE PRESENTS:
THAT Robert H. J. Osborne, Jr. , of `9 ,p,J 4,1 County,
Texas, in consideration of the sum of Ten ($10. 00) Dollars and other
good and valuable consideration in hand paid by the CITY OF FRIENDS-
WOOD, acting through its duly elected officers, the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, do by these presents GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL
and CONVEY, subject to the reservations hereinafter made, unto the
CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, the free and uninterrupted USE, LIBERTY,
and PRIVILEGE Of the PASSAGE IN, ALONG, UPON and ACROSS the
following lands in Galveston County, Texas ,
A strip of Land 30 feet wide along the full length of the
Northwest side of the Southwest one-half of Lot 5 in
Block 4 of Friendswood, a subdivision out of the J. R.
Williams or Sarah McKissick League, in Galveston County,
Texas, according to the plat of said Subdivision of record
in Vol. 238, Page 14, and in Vol. 254, Page 37, in the
office of the County Clerk of Galveston County , Texas.
The Grantor herein excepts from this easement and reserves
for himself, his successors or assigns, forever, all oil gas, and other
minerals in and under the Land covered by this easement, but said
Grantor, for himself, his successors and assigns, waive all right of
ingress and egress to and from the surface of the land covered by this
easement for the purposes of drilling, mining, exploring, or developing
such minerals.
For the purpose of opening, constructing and maintaining a
permanent road or State Highway in, along, upon and across said
premises, with the right and privilege at all times of the Grantee herein, or
its agents, employees, workmen, and representatives having ingress,
egress, and regress in, along, upon, and across said premises for the
purposes of making additions to, improvements on, and repairs to the
said road or highway, or any part thereof, and the laying and maintenance
of utility lines.
This conveyance includes the excepted 15 foot strip off of the
Northwest side , for road purposes, as set out in instrument of record in
Volume 243, page 97 in the County Clerk's office of Galveston County, Texas.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto the said CITY OF FRIENDSWC3DD
as aforesaid for the purposes aforesaid the premises above described.

Dear Sir:
With respect to the Deed executed by me and returned
to you herewith covering "A strip of land 30 feet wide along
the full length of the Northwest side of the Southwest one-
half of Lot 5 in Block 4 of Friendswood. "
It is understood and agreed that this conveyance is
for an additional 15 foot strip of land along the full length
of the said Northwest side of the Southwest one-half of Lot
5 in Block 4, there having been previously conveyed a 15 foot
strip of such land and which is now used as right-of-way for
road purposes.
