MAYO of the County of Prince Georges State of Maryland, hereinafter referred to as Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY AND NO/100 ($380. 00) DOLLARS to Grantees in hand paid by the City of Friendswood, Texas, acting by and through the City Council of the City of Friendswood, Texas, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and for which no lien is retained, either expressed or implied, have this day Sold, and by these presents do Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey unto the City of Friendswood, Texas, all that certain tract or parcel of land in Galveston County; Texas, and being more particularly described as follows, to- wit: Being 1730 Sq. Feet of land, more or less, out of Lot Sixteen (16), Block Five (5), Friendswood Subdivision, Galveston County, Texas, and being Lot Five (5) as shown on a plat and survey of said Lot Sixteen (16), by Paul A. Milligan, dated July 1, 1955, and more parti- cularly described by metes and bounds as follows: Commencing at the West corner of Lot Sixteen (16), Block Five (5), Friendswood, Subdivision, which point is in the centerline of a Forty (40) foot road; THENCE, South 43° 35' East along and with the South- west line of such Lot Sixteen (16), a distance of 20 feet to the BEGINNING CORNER of the tract herein described; THENCE, continuing South 43° 25' East along and with the Southwest line of said Lot Sixteen (16), a distance of Ten (10) feet to a point for corner; THENCE, North 46° 25' East and parallel with the North- west line of said Lot Sixteen (16), a distance of 173 feet to a point for corner; THENCE, North 43° 35' West and parallel with the North- east line of said Lot Sixteen (16), a distance of Ten (10) feet to a point for corner in the Southeast line of said 40 foot road; THENCE, South 46° 25' West along and with the Southeast line of said 40 foot road, a distance of 173 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING containing 17. 30 Sq. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises herein con- veyed together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the City of Friendswood, Texas, its assigns forever; and Grantor does hereby bind himself, his heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, to Warrant and Forever Defend, all and singular, the said premises herein conveyed unto the City of Friendswood, Texas, and its assigns against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
