RIGHT-OF—WAY EASEMENT DEED
THAT WE, Edward E. Mayo , of the County of Galveston, State of Texas
(called Grantor) in consideration of the sum of Ten ($10.00) Dollars and other good and valuable consideration in hand paid
by the WATER CONTROL & IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #15, OF GALVESTON COUNTY, TEXAS, the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged do by these presents GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL and CONVEY subject to the reservation hereinafter made; '.
unto said Water Control & Improvement District #15, of Galveston County, Texas, the free, perpetual and uninterrupted use,
liberty and privilege of the passage in, along, upon and across the following described land situate in Galveston County, Texas,
owned by us:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of a 40 ft. wide road for the West Corner of Lot
16, Block 5, of Friendswood Subdivision, located in Sarah McKissack League, Galveston,
Texas
Thence S. 43 deg. 35 min. E. 495.0 ft. along the Southwest line of said lot 16 to a 1/2"
Iron Pipe for the place of beginning of a 0.045 acre tract hereinafter described
Thence N. 46 deg. 25 min. E. 193.0 ft. to a point for the East Corner of this tract
Thence N. 43 deg. 35 min. W. 10.0 ft. to a point for the North Corner of this tract
Thence S. 46 deg. 25 min. W. 193.0 ft. to a point for the West Corner of this tract
Thence S. 43 deg. 35 min. E. 10.0 ft. to the place of beginning and containing
0.045 acres, more or less.
The Grantor herein excepts from this easement and reserves for themselves, their heirs and assigns, forever, all oil, gas and
other minerals in and under the land covered by this easement, but said Grantors for themselves, their heirs and assigns, waive
all right of ingress and egress to and from the surface of the land covered by this easement for the purposes of drilling, mining,
exploring for or developing such minerals.
For the purpose of opening, laying, repairing, constructing and maintaining a permanent easement upon and across said
premises, with the right and privilege at all times of the Grantee herein, his or its agents, employees, workmen, successors and
assigns and representatives having ingress, egress and regress in, along, upon and across said easement for the purpose of
making additions to, improvements on, laying, repairs and replacements to said sewer and/or water conduits, latterals, lines
and connections thereto, or any part thereof.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto the said Water Control & Improvement District #15, of Galveston County,Texas, as afore-
said for the purposes aforesaid, the premises above described. /
