DIVISION OPERATIONS MANAGER April 12, 1985 R/W File 61378 Conveyance of Fresh Water Line Friendswood Field Harris County, Texas Mr. Jim Morgan, City Manager City of Friendswood 109 Willowick Friendswood, Texas 77546 Dear Mr. Morgan: You have requested Exxon to convey its ownership of a portion of a freshwater line in the Friendswood Field to the City of Friendswood. The six (6") inch line is located east of and parallel to Beamer Road and runs from F.M. 2351 north to Exxon's Central Treating Station. Exxon management agrees to convey this pipeline to the City of Friendswood subject to the following terms and conditions: 1 . The City of Friendswood will be required to pay for surveying and to provide Exxon with the necessary plats to complete the instruments of conveyance. 2. The City of Friendswood will pay for the installation of a new meter at Exxon's Central Treating Station on Beamer Road, said location to be determined by an on site inspection with City of Friendswood officials and Exxon officials. 3. The City of Friendswood will assume all maintenance of this section of the pipeline after conveyance. • 4. The steel water line has never been used to transport hydrocarbons. However, Exxon will not assume responsibility for the water quality in this pipeline.
