for an in consideration of the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred

City of Friendswood , a duly and legally chartered municipal
corporation of the County of Galveston, State of Texas , herein-
after called "Grantee" , the receipt and sufficiency of which is

its successors and assigns and legal representatives , a perpetual
easement and right of way for the purpose of maintaining, con-
structing, reconstructing, repairing, relocating, and removing a
sewer line and related facilities over the following described
property situated in Galveston County, Texas :
BEING a 10 ' wide permanent easement across Lot 1 ,
2 , 3 , and 4 of Block 8 of the Voss Subdivision,'
Sarah McKissick or J. R. Williams League , Abstract
151 , Galveston County, Texas .
BEGINNING at a point in the Northeasterly line of
the 60 ' right-of-way of a county road now known as
Winding Way, said point of beginning lying N 46°
25 ' W 10 . 0 ' from the common southerly corner of
Lot 4 and westerly corner of Lot 5 of the said Voss
Subdivision;
THENCE N 46° 25 ' W 10 . 0 ' with Northeasterly line of
the 60 ' right-of-way of Winding Way and Southwesterly
line of Lot 4 of the said Voss Subdivision;
THENCE N 430 35 ' E at 1950 . 0 ' past a 1" iron pipe
which is N 460 25 ' W 20 . 0 ' from the common corner
of Lots 1 , 2 , 7 , and 8 , continue in all 2258 . 6 '
across Lots 4 , 3 , 2 , and part of 1 with the North-
westerly line of that certain 20 ' strip described in
deed recorded in Volume 647 at page 409 of the
Galveston County Deed Records to a point for corner;
THENCE S 47° 38 ' 10" E 10 . 0 ' to a point for corner;

Northwesterly of the common Northeasterly line of

There is further conveyed a temporary construction ease-
ment for the period of one year from the date of the execution
of this easement or upon completion of the construction and
installation of the facilities contemplated by this grant with-
in the permanent right-of-way granted hereby, whichever first
occurs . Such temporary construction easement being more
particularly described as follows :
BEING a 20 foot wide temporary construction ease-
ment adjoining the above described utility easement
to the Southeast , said easement to revert to
original ownership upon completion of construction,
and lying withing Lots 5 , 6 , 7 , and 8 and the
Southeasterly 10 feet of Lots 1 , 2 , 3 , and 4 of the
Voss Subdivision , as appears of record in Plat Book
No . 254 at page no . 72 of the records of Galveston
County, and being more particularly described as
follows :
BEGINNING at a point in the northeasterly line of
the 60 ' right-of-way of a county road now known as
Winding Way, said point of beginning lying N 46° 35 '
W 10 . 0 ' from the common Southerly corner of Lot 4
and Westerly corner of Lot 5 of the said Voss
Subdivision;
THENCE N 43° 35 ' E 2258 . 92 ' parallel to and 10 . 0 '
Northwesterly from the common Southeasterly line of

also encompasses a 20 ft . road easement of 1. 0373 as
described in deed recorded in Volume 611 at page 118
of the Deed Records of Galveston County, all out of
the Sarah McKissick or J. R. Williams League ,
Abstract 151 .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement and right-
of-way, together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances
thereto in any wise belonging , including all necessary rights of
ingress , egress , and regress , unto the said Grantee , its succes-
sors and assigns , forever. And Grantor does hereby bind them-
selves , their heirs , executors and administrators , to warrant and
forever defend, all and singular , the said easement and rights
unto the said Grantee , its successors and assigns , against every
person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any
part thereof.
The Grantee may do and perform all acts necessary to con-
struct , reconstruct , repair, relocate , remove or maintain a sewer
line on said easement and right-of-way and operate thereon all
necessary machinery and equipment to efficiently prosecute the
work.

"BE IT RESOLVED, that the President of this corporation
and the Secretary be and they are hereby duly authorized to

a sewer line easement across a strip situated in Galveston
County, Texas, which strip is 5 feet in width, 10 feet in
length, hereinafter described, which easement shall be con-
veyed on the form attached hereto as Exhibit 'A' and made
a part hereof. The boundries of said strip is described as
