KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF GALVESTON
WHEREAS John G. Presnell , Jr. , joined herein by his wife, as Grantor
�. did, on or about the 7th day of August, 1969, executed and delivered to the
eN1City of Friendswood, Texas, as Grantee, for the consideration therein mentioned,
m a conveyance of an easement, situated in Galveston County, Texas , and herein-
after more particularly described, which said conveyance is recorded in Book
2065 Page 397 of the Deed Records of Galveston County, Texas; and whereas,
in said conveyance, by mistake, the following legal description was set forth:
COMMENCING at the most southerly corner of Lot 16, Block 5, of
"Friendswood";
THENCE N 45° 00' 00" E. along the common line between Lots 13 and
16, Block 5 of "Friendswood," a distance of 231 .0 feet to a 3/4"
iron pipe for the Place of Beginning for this easement being des-
cribed;
THENCE N 45° 00' 00" W a distance of 10.0 feet, more or less, to
a point;
THENCE S 45° 00' 00" W parallel and 10.0 feet at right angles to
the southeast line of said Lot 16, a distance of 23.0 feet, more
or less, to a point;
THENCE S 45° 00' 00" E a distance of 10.0 feet more or less, to a
point on the southeast line of said Lot 16;
THENCE N 45° 00' 00" E along the southeast line of said Lot 16, a
distance of 23.0 feet more or less, to the Place of Beginning and
containing 0.005 acres of land, more or less.
AND WHEREAS, to prevent difficulties hereafter, it is expedient
to correct said error.
NOW, THEREFORE, the said John G. Presnell , Jr. and wife, Grantors,
in consideration of the premises and of $1 .00 (ONE DOLLAR) to them paid
by the City of Friendswood, as Grantee, which is hereby acknowledged,
hereby grants, sells, conveys and confirms unto the said City of Friendswood,
Texas, Grantee, the right to construct, reconstruct and perpetually maintain
a sewer line upon and across the hereinafter described easement out of Lot
16, Block 5, of "Friendswood" in the Sarah McKissick League, Abstract 151
or J. R. Williams League, Abstract 151 , Galveston County, Texas, as shown
on the map recorded in Volume 254, Page 9, of the Map Records of said County
and being further described as follows:
COMMENCING at the most southerly corner of Lot 16, Block 5, of
"Friendswood";
THENCE N 45° 00'00" E along the common line between Lots 13 and 16,
Block 5 of "Friendswood" , a distance of 193.0 feet to an iron pipe
for the PLACE OF BEGINNING for this easement being described, and
the most southernly corner of the John G. Presnell , Jr. tract;
THENCE N 45° 00' 00" W a distance of 10.0 feet, more or less, to a ' g
point;
THENCE N 45° 00' 00" E parallel and 10.0 feet at right angles to
the SE line of said Lot 16, a distance of 23.0 feet, more or less, .� r-

THENCE S 45° 00' 00" E a distance of 10.0 feet, more or less, to a c, r-

point on the SE line of said lot 16;
THENCE S 45° 00' 00" W along the SE line of said Lot 16, a distance CJ1
of 23.0 feet more or less, to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing
0.005 acres of land, more or less.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same perpetually to the City of Friendswood,
Texas and its successors, together with the rights and privileges at any and
all times to enter said premises, or any part thereof, for the purpose of
constructing, reconstructing and maintaining said sewer, and for making con-
nections therewith; all upon the conditions that the City of Friendswood,
Texas will , at all times after doing any work in connection with the construction,
reconstruction, repair or removal of said sewer or any lateral thereof, restore
said premises to the condition in which same were found before such work was
undertaken, and that in the use of said rights and privileges herein granted
the City of Friendswood, Texas will not create a nuisance or do any act which
would be detrimental to said premises.
This is a correction deed, given and accepted as such in substitution
for such earlier deed of August 7, 1969, and it shall be effectual as of, and
retroactive to such date.

THAT I, JOHN G. PRESNELL, JR. , joined herein by my wife, for
and in consideration of the sum of One ($1 .00) Dollar cash to me in
hand paid by the City of Friendswood, Texas, receipt of which is
acknowledged and further consideration of the benefits to be derived
by me on account of the construction and maintenance by the City of
Friendswood, Texas of said sanitary sewer in and through my certain
premises as hereinafter described, do hereby give and grant to the said
City of Friendswood, Texas, a municipal corporation of Galveston County,
Texas, the right to construct, reconstruct and perpetually maintain a
sanitary sewer line upon and across the hereinafter described easement
out of Lot 16, Block 5, of "Friendswood" in the Sarah McKissick League,
Abstract 151 or J. R. Williams League, Abstract 151 , Galveston County,
Texas, as shown on the map recorded in Volume 254, Page 9, of the Map
Records of said county and being further described as follows:
