KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF GALVESTON 4
EASEMENT
That CISUM CORPORATION and r ,
hereinafter called "Grantor," for a good and valuable consideration,
paid by the City of Friendswood, of the County of Galveston, Texas, here-
inafter called "Grantee," does hereby grant, sell, and convey unto
Grantee an easement and right-of-way upon and across the following de-
scribed property of the Grantor:
A temporary construction ease-
ment 20 ft. in width, said easement to revert to original ownership
upon completion of construction, and lying within lot 1, block 8, of
the voss subdivision as it appears of record in plat book 254 at page
no. 72 of the records of Galveston County.

The easement and right-of-way hereby conveyed shall be

8 of the voss subdivision.
and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the northwesterly line of a 20 ft.
strip off the southeasterly side of lots 1,2,3 and 4, block 8,
as described as tract 2 in deed recorded in volume 1041 at
page 192 of the Deed Records of Galveston County, said point
being the most southerly corner of that 20' sanitary sewer easement
described by deed recorded in volume 1907 at page 72 of the Deed Records
of Galveston County, said beginning point lying N 43°35' E 308.6'
from a 1" iron pipe which is N 46025' W 20.0' from the most
southerly corner of lot 1 and westerly corner of lot 8, block 8, of
the said Voss Subdivision;
THENCE S 43°35' W 20.0' with the northwesterly line of the
said 20 ft. strip off the southeasterly sides of lots 1,2,3, and 4,
Block 8, to a point for corner;
THENCE N 47038'10" W 578.07' to a point in the southeasterly
line of a 0.525 acre tract described as tract no. 2 in deed
recorded in volume 1787 at page 833 of the deed records of
Galveston County and lying N 66°27' E 99.3' from the most
westerly corner of the said 0.525 acre tract;
THENCE N 66°27' E 21.9' with the southeasterly line of the
said 0.525 acre tract to the most westerly corner of that
certain 20' sanitary sewer easement described by deed
recorded in volume 1907 at page 75 of the deed records of
Galveston County',
THENCE S 47°38'10" E 568.7' with the southwesterly line of
the said 20 ft. sanitary sewer easement to the place of
beginning;
SAID boundary enclosing an area of 0.2633 acres out of the
Sarah McKissick or J.R. Williams League, Abstract 151.

land across the southeasterly sides of Lot 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 8 of
the said Voss Subdivision and described as tract 2 in deed recorded in
volume 1041 at page 192 of the Deed Records of Galveston County, said
point being also the most easterly corner of that 20 ft. sanitary
sewer easement described by deed recorded in volume 1907 at page 75 of
the Deed Records of Galveston County, said point lying N 43°35' E 328.6'

corner of Lot 1 and westerly corner of Lot 8, Block 8, of the said Voss

a 0.525 acre tract described as tract no. 2 in deed recorded in
volume 1787 at page 833 of the Deed Records of Galveston County;
THENCE N 66°27' E 5.48' with the southeasterly line of the said 0.525
acre tract to a point for corner;
THENCE S 47°38'10" E 557.85' to a point in the northwesterly line of the
said 20 ft. strip across lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, block 8, of the said Voss
Subdivision;
THENCE S 43°35' W 5.00" to the place of beginning;
SAID boundary enclosing an area of 0.064 acres out of the Sarah McKissick
or J. R. Williams League, Abstract 151.

The right-of-way, easement, rights, and privileges herein granted
shall be used for the purpose of placing, constructing, operating,
repairing and maintaining pipelines for the transmission of water and
sewerage.
The easement, rights, and privileges herein granted shall be
perpetual. Grantor hereby binds himself, his heirs, and legal repre-
sentatives to warrant and forever defend the above described easement and
rights unto Grantee, its successors, and assigns, against every person
whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
The easement, rights, and privileges granted herein are exclusive,
and Grantor covenants that he will not convey any other easement or con-
flicting rights within the area conveyed by this grant.
This instrument shall be binding upon the heirs, executors, admini-
strators, successors, and assigns of the parties hereto.
In addition to the easement, rights, and privileges herein conveyed,
Grantee shall have the right to use so much of the surface of the hereto-
fore described property of Grantor as may be reasonably necessary to
construct and install within the right-of-way granted hereby the
facilities contemplated by this grant. Upon the completion of such con-
struction and installation, Grantee shall replace and restore all fences,
walls, or other structures which may have been relocated or removed
during the construction period, and Grantee shall pay Grantor reasonable
compensation for such fences, walls, or structures which may not be
replaced.
