§ KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS
COUNTY OF GALVESTON §
THAT I, Jess Williams, Trustee of the Lowe Family 1988
Trust, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS
($10 . 00) and other valuable consideration in hand paid by the
Grantee herein named, the receipt and sufficiency of which is
hereby acknowledged, have GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED and by these
presents do GRANT, SELL, and CONVEY unto THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD,
TEXAS, hereinafter referred to as "Grantee" , its successors and
assigns, a ten foot ( 10 ' ) wide easement and right of way for the
purpose of constructing, operating, installing, repairing,
replacing, relocating, removing, and maintaining an underground
pipeline for the drainage of storm waters, along across, and
under that certain easement and right of way in Galveston County,
Texas, described as follows:
SEE EXHIBIT "A" , ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF.
The easement, rights, and privileges herein granted shall be
perpetual .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement and right
of way together with, all and singular, the rights and
appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging, unto the said
Grantee, including all successors and assigns forever including
all necessary rights of ingress and egress, and Grantor does
hereby bind itself, its heirs, legal representatives, and assigns
to warrant to forever defend, all and singular, said easement and

right of way unto the Grantee, its successors, and assigns
against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the
same or any part thereof.

act and deed of the Lowe Family 1988 Trust, and in the capacity
therein stated.

AS RECORDED IN THE GALVESTON COUNTY PLAT RECORDS IN VOLUME
18, PAGE 45, A SUBDIVISION OF 11.4003 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF
LOTS 15 AND 16, BLCCK 5, FRIENDSWCOD SUBDIVISION AS RECORDED
IN VOLUME 238, PAGE 14 AND VOLUME 254, PAGE 37 OF THE
GALVESTON COUNTY DEED RE DRDS, IN THE SARAH MCKISSICK OR J.R.
WILLIAMS LEAGUE IN GALVESTON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
CCVNENCING from the North corner of said Lot 15, corner being the
intersection of the centerline of Castlewood Drive (60 feet) and the
centerline of an original 60 foot road (FM 518 or Friendswood Drive

THENCE, South 45 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, a distance of

30.00 feet to a 5/8" iron rod, said iron rod being the intersection of
the southeast R.O.W. line of Castlewood Drive and the southwest R.O.W.
line of Friendswood Drive;
THENCE, South 45 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, along the
southeast R.O.W. line of Castlewood Drive, a distance of 778.25 feet
to the POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE, South 45 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East, a distance of
170.00 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE, South 45 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, a distance of
10.00 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE, North 45 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West along the
Southwest line of Tract A, a distance of 170.00 feet to a point for
corner, said corner also being on the southeast R.O.W. line of
Castlewood Drive; and the West corner of Tract A;
THENCE, North 45 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East, along said
southeast R.O.W. line of Castlewood Drive, a distance of 10.00 feet to
the POINT OF BEGINNING:
