Lenz , Ai.S. , acting in his official capacity as Administrator of the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette, St. Louis , Missouri (hereinafter called GRANTOR), for and in consideration of the sum of One and No/100 ($1 .00) Dollars to him paid by Ralph W. Somers, Mayor of the City of Friendswood, Texas, (hereinafter called GRANTEE CITY) receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, have GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT, SELL and CONVEY unto the GRANTEE CITY and its successors, for the purpose and use stated hereafter, the following described tract of land out of Lots One (1 ) and Fifteen (15) , Block Three (3) of the Friendswood Subdivision, out of the J. R. Williams or Sarah McKissick League, Galveston County, Texas, according to the map of said subdivision found in Volume 254, Page 37, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point being S. 45° E. 210.5 feet from the intersection of Lots 1 and 16, Block 3 of the Friendswood Subdivision with the Leon Brown property; THENCE in a southwesterly direction approximately S. 45° W. along the S. E. line of the Leon Brown property a distance of 660.0 feet to a point; THENCE in a southeasterly direction approximately S. 45° E. a distance of 7.5 feet to a point; THENCE in a northeasterly direction 7.5 feet from and parallel to the S.E. line of the Leon Brown property approximately N. 45° E. a distance of 660.0 feet to a point; THENCE northwesterly approximately N. 45° W. a distance of 7.5 feet to the place of beginning. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises for use as a drainage easement from STONES THROW and CEDARWOOD in the City of Friendswood for the cutting of a drainage ditch four (4) feet wide and two (2) feet deep. GRANTEE CITY shall have the right to enter the premises at any and all reasonable times with necessary equipment to dig the said ditch • a ' 1 or to repair and maintain the same and shall GRANTEE CITY discontinue the use of said easement as above stated, the entire premises shall revert to GRANTOR.
