§ KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF HARRIS §
THAT we, RELLA G. SCHLANGER, Individually and as Independent
Executrix of the Estate of DANIEL SCHLANGER, Deceased, and LEE D.
SCHLANGER, hereinafter called "Grantors" , for and in considera-
tion of the sum of ONE & NO/100 ($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good
and valuable considerations, to us in hand paid by CLEAR WOODS
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, a conservation and reclamation district

of the State of Texas, created and existing under the provisions
of Article 16, Section 59, of the Constitution of Texas, herein-
after called "Grantee" , the receipt and sufficiency of which are
hereby acknowledged, have GRANTED, SOLD, and CONVEYED, and do
hereby GRANT, SELL, and CONVEY, unto Grantee, its successors
and assigns, a right-of-way and easement for the purpose of
digging, constructing, maintaining, and operating a waterline
which right-of-way and easement is described in EXHIBIT "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described right-of-way and
easement, together with all and singular the rights and appur-
tenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto Grantee, its succes-
sors and assigns, forever, and Grantors hereby bind themselves,
their heirs, executors, and administrators, to warrant and for-
ever defend, all and singular, the said premises unto Grantee,
its successors and assigns, against every person whomsoever law-
fully claiming, or to claim, the same or any part thereof, by,
thru, or under the undersigned, but not otherwise.
Grantors, their heirs and assigns, reserve the right fully
to use and enjoy said premises except as the same may be neces-
sary for the purposes herein granted. Grantors further reserve

the right to cross said right-of-way and easement with road-
way and other easements, public or private, so long as said
waterline is not damaged.
Grantee, by acceptance hereof, agrees properly to install
and construct said waterline and to restore the surface of the
property burdened by said easement and properly to maintain same
at all times.

BEING A 5.00 FOOT WATER LINE EASEMENT
OUT OF LOT 3
OF THE E. J. THOMAS SUBDIVISION
HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS
Being a 5.00 foot water line easement out of the Southwesterly 1/2 of Lot 3 of the
E. J. Thomas Subdivision in the Sarah McKissick Survey, Abstract 549, Harris County,
Texas according to the map as recorded in Volume 241 , page 424 of the Deed Records
of Harris County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the Northwesterly line of Friendswood Webster Road, said
point being the Southeast corner of the above said Lot 3 of the E. J. Thomas Subdivision;
THENCE N 44° 22' 13" W following along the Southwesterly line of the above said Lot 3
a distance of 5.00 feet to a point for corner of the 5.00 foot water line easement herein
described;
THENCE N 45° 08' 20" E a distance of 395.60 feet to a point for corner of the 5.00 foot
water line easement herein described;
THENCE S 44° 22' 13" E a distance of 5.00 feet to a point for corner of the 5.00 foot water
line easement herein described;
THENCE S 45° 08' 20" W following along the Southeasterly line of the above said Lot 3
and the Northwesterly line of the above said Friendswood-Webster Road a distance of
395.60 feet to a point for corner and the PLACE OF BEGINNING of the 5.00 foot water
line easement herein described.
