KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that we, J. B. GOODMAN and wife MILDRED D.
GOODMAN of Galveston County, Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN
AND NO/100 ($10.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to us in
hand paid by the CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, County of Galveston, State of Texas, the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED and
by these presents do GRANT, SELL and CONVEY unto the said CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD,
County of Galveston, State of Texas, an easement in and along the following
described tract or parcel of land for the purpose of constructing and maintain-

ing a lateral sanitary sewer line C ' A inches in diameter which sanitary
sewer line is to be connected with the main sanitary sewer line now situated
in and along Heritage Street which is within the city limits of the said CITY
OF FRIENDSWOOD:
A strip of land 12 feet widw and being the northwest
12 feet out of tracts I and II which were conveyed
to the Grantors herein by Harold T. Allman and wife
M. Ruth Allman by deed dated July 31 , 1963 and re-
corded in Volume 1583, Page 166 to 168 inclusive of
the Deed Records of Galveston County, Texas, and
further described as follows:
BEGINNING at the north corner of Lot 1, Block 4 a
part of the Sarah McKissick or J. R. Williams League,
of the City of Friendswood, County of Galveston, State
of Texas, which point is in the intersecting centerline
of a 60 foot county road running northeast and southwest
and the original 40 foot road running northwest and south-
east ;
THENCE SOUTHEAST along the centerline of the original
40 foot road a distance of 165 feet;
THENCE SOUTHWEST parallel with the northwest line of Lot
1 a distance of 35 feet to the north corner and place of
beginning of the tract herein described;
THENCE SOUTHWEST parallel with the northwest line of
Lot 1 a distance of 250 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE SOUTHEAST parallel with the northeast line of
Lot 1 a distance of 12 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE NORTHEAST parallel with the northwest boundary
line of Lot 1 a distance of 250 feet to a point for

Lr) THENCE NORTHWEST parallel with the northeast line of
C' Lot 1 a distance of 12 feet to the north corner of the
! tract herein described and the place of beginning.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement tract on the conditions

above set out unto the CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, County of Galveston, State of Texas,
forever, so that neither the Grantors nor their heirs or assigns, nor any person
claiming by, through or under said Grantors, shall at any time hereafter, claim
or demand any right, title or interest in or to the above described tract or any

State, on this day personally appeared J. B. Goodman and Mildred D. Goodman,
his wife, both known to me to be the persons whose names are subscribed to
the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged to me that they each executed the
same for the purposes and consideration therein expressed, and the said Mildred
D. Goodman, wife of the said J. B. Goodman, having been examined by me privily
and apart from her husband, and having the same fully explained to her, she,
the said Mildred D. Goodman acknowledged such instrument to be her act and deed,
and she declared that she had willingly signed the same for the purposes and
