KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
COUNTY OF GALVESTON
That we , George K. Gillies and Marjorie H. Gillies
hereinafter referred to as "Grantors , " desiring to aid the City
of Friendswood, a duly and legally chartered municipal
corporation of the Counties of Galveston and Harris, State of
Texas , hereinafter called "Grantee, " in its efforts to transport
potable water have GRANTED, GIVEN, and CONVEYED, and by these
presents do GRANT, GIVE, and CONVEY unto the said Grantee, its
successors , assigns , and legal representatives , a potable
waterline easement, such potable waterline easement being more
particularly described as follows:
See "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorporated herein
for all purposes .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above-described potable waterline
easement, together with all and singular the rights and
appurtenances thereto in any wise belonging, including all
necessary rights of ingress, egress , and regress , unto the said
Grantee, its successors and assigns. And Grantors do hereby bind
themselves , their heirs , executors and administrators , to warrant
and forever defend, all and singular, the said potable waterline
easement and rights unto the said Grantee, its successors and
assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to
claim the same or any part thereof.

Grantors shall retain the right to construct driveways and
sidewalks on easement surface, so long as no permanent structures
are constructed on said potable waterline easement. Grantors
shall have the right to include the potable waterline easement as
a "greenbelt" area when necessary and dictated by the City of
Friendswood Zoning Ordinance.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this instrument is executed this 22nd

FIELD NOTES ON A 0.1795 ACRE STRIP OF LAND, Said Tract
Being the 10 Foot Wide Strip Adjacent to the Northwest
New Right-of-Way of F.M. 528 Out of Lots 40 & 55, Block
7 of the Antoinette Voss Subdivision in the Sarah McKis-
sick Survey, Abstract 151, Galveston County, Texas.
BEGINNING at an iron rod found for the intersection of the new northwesterly
right-of-way of F.M. 528 and the cut-off line with F.M. 518;
THENCE N. 81° 12' 54" W. (called N. 81° 11' 14" W. ) along the said cut-off line
with F.M. 518, a distance of 11.95 feet to a point for the most westerly corner
of this tract being described;
THENCE N. 41° 57' 49" E. parallel and 10.0 feet from the new northwesterly right-
of-way line of F.M. 528 a distance of 657.42 feet to a point for an interior
angle;
THENCE S. 48° 02' 11" E. continuing 10 feet from and parallel to the new north-
westerly right-of-way line of F.M. 528 a distance of 24.83 feet to a point for an
interior corner;
THENCE N. 40° 58' 28" E. continuing 10 feet from and parallel to the northwest-
erly right-of-way line of F.M. 528 a distance of 102.70 feet to a point in the
common property line between this tract and the adjacent tract;
THENCE S. 48° 36' 39" E. a distance of 10.00 feet to a 1/2 inch iron rod found in
the northwesterly right-of-way line of F.M. 528, for the most easterly corner of
this tract being described;
THENCE S. 40° 58' 28" W. along the northwesterly right-of-way line of F.M. 528, a
distance of 112.80 feet to a corner;
THENCE N. 48° 02' 11" W. along the new northwesterly right-of-way line of F.M.
528, a distance of 25.00 feet to an interior corner;
THENCE S. 41° 57' 49" W. along the new northwesterly right-of-way line of F.M.
528, a distance of 640.89 feet (called 626.09 feet) to the PLACE OF BEGINNING,
and containing 0.1795 Acres of Land, more or less.
