KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
COUNTY OF GALVESTON 0
THAT I, FRED A. CURTIS, d/b/a NATIONAL INVESTORS COMPANY,
of the County of Harris, State of Texas (called Grantor) in
consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) and other
good and valuable consideration in hand paid by the CITY OF
FRIENDSWOOD, of Galveston County, Texas, the free, perpetual
and uninterrupted use, liberty and privilege of the passage
in, along, upon and across the following described land situated
in Galveston County, Texas, owned by me :
BEING a 2 .5 foot utility easement over and across Lot 3 ,
Block 2 , in Friendswood Subdivision, a subdivision of
the J. R. Williams or Sarah McKissick League situated
in Galveston County, Texas, according to a map or plat
thereof recorded in Volume 254-A at Page 4 in the office
of the County Clerk of Galveston County, Texas, said
utility easement being more particularly described by
metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the northwesterly line
of Heritage Street and the southwesterly line of F. M.
Road 51$, also known as Friendswood Drive;
THENCE, S 45° West along the northwesterly line of
Heritage Street a distance of 625 .00 feet to a point
for corner;
THENCE, N 45° West 2 . 50 feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE, N 45° East and parallel to the northwesterly line
of Heritage Street a distance of 625.00 feet to a point in
the southwesterly line of the above-mentioned F. M. Road
51$;
THENCE, S 45° East and along said F. M. Road 51$ a distance
of 2 .50 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing
1,562 .5 square feet.
The Grantor herein excepts from this easement and reserves
for himself, his heirs and assigns, forever, all oil, gas and
other minerals in and under the land covered by this easement,
but said Grantors for himself, his heirs and assigns, waive
all right of ingress and egress to and from the surface of the
land covered by this easement for the purposes of drilling,
mining, exploring for or developing such minerals.
For the purpose of opening, laying, repairing, constructing
and maintaining a permanent easement upon and across said pre-

mises, with the right and privilege at all times of the Grantee
herein, his or its agents, employees, workmen, successors and
assigns and representatives having ingress, egress and regress
in, along, upon and across said easement for the purpose of
making additions to, improvements on, laying, repairs, and
replacements to said sewer and/or water conduits, latterals,
lines and connections thereto, or any part thereof.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto the said City of Friendswood, of
Galveston County, Texas, as aforesaid for the purposes afore-
said, the premises above-described.
