EASEMENT DEED
THAT WE, Cane Corporation, of the County of Galveston, State
of Texas (called Grantor) in consideration of the sum of one 1 .00
dollar and other good and valuable consideration in hand paid by the City
of Friendsrwood, Galveston County, Teas, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, do by these presents GRANT, BARGAIN, and CONVEY subject to
the reservations hereinafter rime, unto said City of Friendsvwood, of
Galveston County, Texas, a public utility easement for the, free, perpetual
and uninterrupted use, liberty and privilege of the passage in along,
upon and across the following described laird situated in Galveston County
Texas, owned by us:
TRACT NO. 5 Being a 7. 50 foot easement over and across that
certain tact or parcel of land known as Tract 5 a part of CANS
CORPORATION 57.215 acne tract in the Perry and Austin League,
Abstract 20, Galveston County, Texas, and Abstract 111 , Bra on
County, Texas, said 7.50 easement being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows to Twit::
BEGINNING at a point for corner in the southwesterly `dire of said
57.215 acre tract, also being the northeasterly line of WEST
FRIENDS NUN SUBDIVISION, said part being N 44' 5 ° 35" 1526.00
feet from the East corner of NEST FRIENDSWOOD SUBDIVISION, said
East corner of FRENDSWOOD SUBDIVISION also being the point of
intersection of the Southwesterly line of said 67,215 acre tract
and the Southwesterly line of the Perry and Austin League; which
is also the center line of State Highway 2551 .
THENCE N 45' E a distance of 245.75 feet to a point in the Southwest
right-of-way line of Chester Drive;
THENCE S 45' E and along the southwesterly right-of-way line of
Chester Drive a distance of 7.50 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE S 45" N a distance of 245.75 feet more or less to a point
in the Southwesterly line of above said 57.215 acre tract of land
and the Northeasterly line of said NEST FRIENDSUOOD SUBDIVISION;
THENCE N 440 55" 5" W and along the Southwesterly line of said
67.215 acre tract of land a distance of 7.50 feet to the place of
beginning.

in and under the land covered by this easement, but said Grantors for
themselves, their heirs and assigns , waive all right of ingress and egress
to and from the surface of the land covered by this easement for the
purposes of drilling, mining , exploring for or developing such minerals.
For the purpose of opening , laying, repairing, constructing and
maintaining a permanent easement upon and across said premises, with the
right and privilege at all times of the Grantee herein, his or its agents,
employees, workmen, successors and assigns and representatives having
ingress, egress and regress in, along, upon and across said easement for
the purpose of making additions to, improvements on, laying, repairs, and
replacements to said seer, gas and/or rater conduits, laterals, lines
and connections thereto, or any part thereof.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto the said City of Friends wood, of Galveston
County, Texas, as aforesaid for the purposes aforesaid, the premises above
described.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the Cane Corporation has caused these
presents to be signed by Linn C. Eignus, its President, thereunto authorized,
attested by its Assistant Secretary Maxine E. Eugnus, and its Common Seal'
