RIGHT OF WAY CONTRACT
We, Cecil Brown and wife, Frances Brown, of Galveston County,
Texas, have given, granted and conveyed, and by this instrument do give,
grant and convey unto the Galveston County Water Control & Improvement
District #15, a body corporate and politic of Galveston County, estab-
lished under the laws of the State of Texas the right to construct, re-
construct/maintain a water line/lines together with all necessary later-
als upon and across a partial of land described as follows :
Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, of the Friendswood Sub-division of the
J. R. Williams League in Galveston County, Texas.
The right-of-way herein granted shall be 20 ' in width lying along
the northwesterly boundary line of said lots using the most west-
erly corner of Lot 2, Block 2, for a starting point, thence in a
northeasterly direction along the northwesterly line of Lot 2,
Block 2, a distance of 403' for a place of beginning of the prop-
erty to be described, thence in a northeasterly direction contin-
uing along the northwesterly line of Lots 1 and 2, to a point
where Mary's Creek crosses the northwesterly boundary line of Lot
1, Block 2. The said northwesterly line of Lots 1 and 2, Block 2,
is also the southeasterly boundary line of the dedicated 60 '
county road.
To have and to hold the same perpetually for the purpose set out
unto the said Galveston County Water Control & Improvement District #15
and its successors together with the right and privilege at any time and
all times to enter the above described premises, or any part thereof,
for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing/maintaining said water
line/lines and for the purpose of making connections therewith.
The consideration for this instrument is $1.00 and other good and
valuable consideration made to grantor by grantee the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged.
Grantors herein except forever all oil, gas, and other minerals in
and under said above described land.

B1b0RE ME, a Notary Public in and for Galveston County, Texas, on
this day personally appeared Cecil Brown and Frances Brown, wife of
said Cecil Brown, known to me to be the persons whose names are sub-
scribed to the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged to me that they
executed the same for the purposes and consideration therein expressed.
And the said Frances Brown, wife of the said Cecil Brown, having been
examined by me privily and apart from her husband, and having the same
fully explained to her, she, the said Frances Brown acknowledged such
instrument to be her act and deed, and declared that she had willingly
signed the same for the purposes and consideration therein expressed,
and that she did not wish to retract it.
