RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT DEED �onK29 PACE 735
THAT MC, Norwood A. Berry et ux , of the County of Galveston,
State of Texas (called Grantor) in consideration of the sum of ONE ($1 .00) Dollars
and other good and valuable consideration in hand paid by the City of Friendswood, Galveston
County, Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged do by these presents GRANT,
BARGAIN, SELL and CONVEY subject to the reservation hereinafter made; unto said City of
Friendswood, of Galveston County, Texas, the free, perpetual and uninterrupted use, liberty
and privilege of the passage in, along, upon and across the following described land situated
in Galveston County, Texas, owned by us:
Being a 7.00 foot easement over and across the Northeasterly side of
Lot 7 in the Eignus Subdivision according to a map or plat thereof
recorded in Volume 4 Page 6 in the map records of Galveston
County, Texas.
The above said 7.00 foot easement shall be for the purpose of laying
a water line from the existing water line on Praire Wild to the North-
westerly line of said Lot 7.
The Grantor herein excepts from this easement and reserves for themselves, their
heirs and assigns, forever, all oil, gas and other minerals in and under the land covered by
this easement, but said Grantors for themselves, their heirs and assigns, waive all right of
ingress and egress to and from the surface of the land covered by this easement for the
purposes of drilling, mining, exploring for or developing such minerals.
For the purpose of opening, laying, repairing, constructing and maintaining a per-
manent easement upon and across said premises, with the right and privilege at all times of
the Grantee herein, his or its agents, employees, workmen, successors and assigns and repres-
entatives having ingress, egress and regress in, along, upon and across said easement for the
purpose of making additions to, improvements on, laying, repairs, and replacements to said
sewer and/or water conduits, latterals, lines and connections thereto, or any part thereof.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto the said City of Friendswood, of Galveston County, Texas, as
aforesaid for the purposes aforesaid, the premises above described.
WITNESS the hands of Grantors on this the J day of A.D.(2,(.L ,e-W, 190.
