GAY, TRUSTEE, of Harris County, Texas, hereinafter called "Grantor, " for and in consideration of Ten ($10.00) Dollars and other good and valuable consideration cash in hand paid by THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, a political subdivision of the State of Texas, hereinafter called "Grantee," the receipt and sufficiency of such consideration being hereby acknowledged and confessed, has GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED and by these presents does GRANT, SELL and CONVEY unto the said Grantee an easement and right-of-way for utility and roadway purposes, over, across and upon the following described lands, to-wit: A tract of land containing 10,800 square feet, being part of and out of Lot 12, Block 2, FRIENDSWOOD SUBDIVISION, as per map or plat of said subdivision, recorded in Volume 238, Page 14, of the Deed Records of Galveston County, Texas, in the Sarah McKissick Survey, Abstract 151, in Friendswood, Galveston County, Texas and being more par- ticularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a 5/8 inch iron rod marking the north corner of the aforesaid Lot 12; THENCE S 45° 00' 00" E along the northeasterly line of the said Lot 12, on the center line of Quaker Drive, 60 feet wide, a distance of 60.00 feet to a point for corner; THENCE S 45° 00' 00" W along a line parallel to and 60 feet southeasterly from the northwesterly line of the said Lot 12, a distance of 180.00 feet to a point for corner; THENCE N 45° 00' 00" W along a line parallel to and 180 feet southwesterly from the northeasterly line of the said Lot 12, a distance of 60.00 feet to a 3/4 inch iron rod for corner on the northwesterly line of said Lot 12; THENCE N 45° 00' 00" E along the northwesterly line of the said Lot 12, a distance of 180.00 feet to the PLACE OF RFGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described right-of way easement and right-of-way unto the said Grantee, its successors and assigns, forever.
