That I , CHARLES C. LARY, III , of the County of Harris, State
of Texas, hereinafter referred to as Grantor, for and in
consideration of the public good and welfare for the citizens of
the CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, HAVE GRANTED, SOLD, and CONVEYED, and by
these presents do HEREBY GRANT, SELL, and CONVEY unto THE CITY OF
FRIENDSWOOD, Galveston County, Texas, hereinafter referred to as
Grantee, all of that certain Real Estate situated in the County
of Galveston, State of Texas, more particularly described as
follows :
A 14 , 952 Square Foot Tract of Land, as particularly
described in Exhibit "A" , which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the property, together with all and
singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in any wise
belonging and any right, title, and interest of Grantor in and to
adjacent streets, alleys and rights-of-way, unto the said CITY OF
FRIENDSWOOD, its heirs, personal representatives, successors, and
assigns forever, and Grantor does hereby bind himself and his
heirs , personal representatives, successors , and assigns to
warrant and forever defend all and singular the property unto
Grantee and its heirs, personal representatives, successors, and
assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to
claim the same , or any part thereof, by, throught, or under me,
but not otherwise, subject, however, as// aforesaid.
