COUNTY OF GALVESTON ) KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

., 3 THAT WE, Taylor J. Hughes, and wife Agnes S. Hughes, of the
County of Harris, Texas, in consideration of the sum of Ten ($10. 00) Dollars and
other good and valuable consideration in hand paid by Galveston County, acting
through the Commissioners' Court of said County, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, do by these presents GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL AND CONVEY, �I
subject to the reservation hereinafter made, unto Galveston County, the free
and uninterrupted use, liberty and privilege of the passage in, along, upon

and across the following lands in Galveston County, Texas, owned by us, to-wit:
A Ten foot strip of land out of Block I of the Central Park
Subdivision, said subdivision being of record in Book 105
Page 151 of the records of Galveston County, Texas, said
strip being described as a 10 foot strip of land tying along
the Southwest Right of Way line of a Dedicated 40 foot
county road, the Centerline of said road being on the boundary
line between Blocks D and I, and said 10 foot strip extending
all the way from the Southeast boundary line of Block I to
the Northwest boundary line of Block I.
The Grantors herein except from this easement and reserve
for themselves, their heirs and assigns, forever, all oil, gas, and other
minerals, in and under the land covered by this easement, but said Grantors,
for themselves, their heirs and assigns, waive all right of ingress and
egress to and from the surface of the land covered by this easement for the
purposes of drilling, mining, exploring or developing such minerals.
For the purpose of opening, constructing and maintaining a
permanent road or State Highway in, along , upon and across said premises,
with the right and privilege at all times of the Grantee herein, his or its
. agents, employees, workmen, and representatives having ingress, egress,
and regress in, along, upon and across said premises for the purposes of
making additions to improvements on, and repairs to the said road or
highway, or any part thereof.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto the said Galveston County as

BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, on this day personally
appeared Taylor J. Hughes, and wife Agnes S. Hughes, both known to me
to be the persons whose names are subscribed to the fdoregoing instrument and
acknowledged to me that they both executed the same for the purposes and
consideration therein expressed, and the said Agnes S. Hughes, wife of the
said Taylor J. Hughes, having been examined by me privily and apart
from her husband, and having the same fully explained to her, she, the
said Agnes S. Hughes, acknowledged such instrument to be her act and
deed, and she declared that she had willingly signed the same for the
purpose and consideration therein expressed, and that she did not with to
retract it.
GIVEN UNDER MY HAND AND SEAL OF OFFICE, this the
