KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF GALVESTON
That the GULF COAST PRESBYTERY OF THE UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
4114 IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, herein called "Grantor", for and; M

consideration of dedications by the landowners from Farm-to-Market Road
518, extending south to the Bayou, has GIVEN, DEDICATED AND DONATED
and by these presents does hereby GIVE, DEDICATE AND DONATE unto the
CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, a Political Subdivision in the County of Galveston,
State of Texas, herein for convenience called "Grantee", a right of way
and easement for street and roadway purposes, upon, over and across that
certain 10' x 113' strip of land out of Lot No. 15 in Block No. 5 of Friendswood,
a subdivision out of the Sarah McKissick or J. R. Williams League in
Galveston County, Texas, according to the plat of said Friendswood, re-
corded in Volume 238, at page 14 and again in Volume 254, at page 35, both
in the office of the County Clerk of Galveston County, Texas, and being
more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING for point of reference at the most Northerly
corner of said Lot 15, Block 5 of Friendswood, said point being
in the center line of a 40 foot road and in the center line of the
original 60 foot road which now is a part of F. M . Highway No.
518;
THENCE Southeast along the Northeast boundary line of said
Lot 15, Block 5, a distance of 20 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE Southwest, and parallel with the Northwest line of said
Lot 15, a distance of 48 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE continuing Southwest, parallel with the Northwest line
of said Lot 15, and along the Southeast right of way of the 40 foot
road, a distance of 222 feet to the point of beginning of the tract
here described;
THENCE, continuing Southwest, parallel with the Northwest line
of said Lot No. 15, and along the Southeast right of way line of the

Lot No. 15, a distance of 10 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE Northeast, parallel with the Northwest line of said
Lot No. 15 and parallel with the right of way line of the existing
40 foot road, a distance of 113 feet to the point for corner;

THENCE Northwest and parallel with the Northeast line of Lot t' t-s
No. 15, a distance of 10 feet to the Southeast right of way line
of the existing 40 foot County Road, the PLACE OF BEGINNING. 4 ,
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement and right of way,
with all rights and appurtenances thereto belonging, unto the said City of
Friendswood, its successors and assigns, for so long as the above de-
scribed property shall be used for street or roadway purposes. It is expressly
provided and agreed that upon abandonment of the use of the above de-
scribed property for street and roadway purposes, the easement and right
of way herein and hereby dedicated and granted shall terminate, of its
own terms, without necessity of any re-entry or other action on the part
of Grantor above named, its successors or assigns, and upon such termi-
natia-i the above named Grantor, its successors or assigns, shall hold
said property free of any easement or right herein granted.

MORGAN MARTIN, President of the Board of Trustees of Gulf Coast Presbytery
of the United Presbyterian Church in the United States of America, a corporation,
known to me to be the person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing instru-
ment, and acknowledged to me that he executed the same for the purposes
and consideration therein expressed, in the capacity therein stated and as
the act and deed of said corporation.
