THAT THE GALLOWAY SCHOOL ("Grantor"), for and in consideration of Zero Dollars
($0.00) and other good and valuable consideration paid in cash to the Grantor by the Grantee
herein named, has GRANTED, BARGAINED, SOLD AND CONVEYED and by these presents
does GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL AND CONVEY unto the CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD, a Home-
Rule City of the State of Texas ("Grantee"), all of the property described as being 1.2603 acre
tract of land, partially situated in the Sarah McKissick Survey, Abstract No. 549, Harris County,
Texas, and partially situated in the John Dickinson Survey, Abstract No. 15, Harris County,
Texas, and being a portion of Restricted Reserve "A" out of Autumn Creek Section 9, a
subdivision plat recorded under Film Code No. 497014 of the Map of Records of Harris County,
Texas (the "Property").
THIS CONVEYANCE IS MADE BY GRANTOR AND ACCEPTED BY GRANTEE subject
to the terms, conditions and provisions hereof and further subject to all applicable easements,
conditions, restrictions, covenants, mineral or royalty interests, mineral reservations, surface
waivers, liens, encumbrances, regulations or orders of municipal and/or other governmental
authorities, if any, or other matters of record, to the extent, but only to the extent, they are validly
existing and affect the Property.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the Property, together with all singular the rights and
appurtenances thereto and in anywise belonging, unto the said Grantee, its successors and
assigns forever; and Grantor does hereby bind itself, its successors and assigns, to Warrant
and Forever Defend all and singular the Property unto the said Grantee, its successors and
assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same of any part
thereof, by, through or under Grantor, but not otherwise.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor herein has executed this Special Warranty Deed,
to be effective as of the 25th day of July, 2011.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
(9_(j OF FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, DETERMINING THAT LAND
IS NEEDED FOR CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE
�r OF BLACKHAWK BLVD; ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION
OF SAID LAND FROM THE GALLOWAY SCHOOL,
PROPERTY OWNERS.
* * * * *WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Friendswood now finds and determines that

public convenience and necessity requires the City of Friendswood to acquire property over and ,
across a tract of land containing 1.2603 acre tract of land, partially situated in the Sarah
McKissick Survey, Abstract No. 549, Harris County, Texas, and partially situated in the John
Dickinson Survey, Abstract No. 15, Harris County, Texas, and being a portion of Restricted
Reserve "A" out of Autumn Creek Section 9, a subdivision plat recorded under Film Code No.
497014 of the Map of Records of Harris County, Texas, a more specific description of said
1.2603 acre tract of land is contained in Exhibit "A", Special Warranty Deed, and made a part
key thereof, (herein after the"Land"); and
111 WHEREAS, the City of Friendswood, through its duly authorized representative, has
negotiated with the owners of said tract of land for the dedication of such property for the herein
stated purpose and has been able to agree with such owners as to the fair market value thereof; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The facts and matters set forth in the preamble of this Resolution are hereby
found to be true and correct.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Friendswood finds that bona fide
negotiations have been conducted by the authorized representative of the City for the acquisition of

the property over the herein described tract of land, and that said negotiations were successful, and
that the acquisition of the property for the negotiated price is approved.
Section 3. The Mayor is authorized to execute any documentation necessary to accept,
document, and record said Easement.
PASSED,APPROVED,AND RESOLVED this 25th day of July,2011.
