COUNTY OF GALVESTON ) KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT WE, Dale Brown and wife Marie Brown, of Smith County c
Texas, in consideration of the sum of Ten ($10. 00) Dollars and other good and
valuable consideration in hand paid by Galveston County, acting through the
Commissioners' Court of said County,
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, C
do by these presents GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL AND CONVEY, subject to the
reservation hereinafter made, unto Galveston County, the free and uninterrupted
use, liberty and privilege of the passage in, along, upon and across the
following lands in Galveston County, Texas, owned by us: to-wit:
A Ten (10")Foot strip of land out of Block B, C, and D of the
Central Park Subdivision, said strip being described as
a 10' strip of land lying along the Northeast boundary
• line of a dedicated 40 foot County Road, the Centerline of said
road being the boundary line between Blocks D &I, C & H and
B & G, and said 101strip extending all the distance through
Block D, C, and through B to a point in Block B where
said 10' strip intersects the Centerline of Cowards Creek.
Said S/D recorded in Book 105, page 151 Galveston Co. Deed records
The Grantors herein except from this easement and reserve
for themselves, their heirs and assigns, forever, all oil, gas, and other
• minerals, in and under the land covered by this easement, but said Grantors,
for themselves, their heirs and assigns, waive all right of ingress and
egress to and from the surface of the land covered by this easement for the
purposes of drilling, mining exploring or developing such minerals.
For the purpose of opening, constructing and maintaining
•
a permanent road or State Highway in, along upon and across said premises,
with the right and privilege at all times of the Grantee herein, his or its
agents, employes, workmen, and representatives having ingress, egress,
and regress in, along, upon and across said premises for the purposes of
making additions to improvements on, and repairs to the said road or
highway, or any part thereof.
• TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto the said Galveston County as
aforesaid for the purposes aforesaid the premises above described.

BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, on this day personally
appeared Dale Brown, and wife Marie Brown, both known to me to be the person
whose names are subscribed to the foregoing instrument and acknowledged to
me that they both executed the same for the purposes and consideration therein
expressed, and the said Marie Brown, wife of the said Dale Brown, having
been examined by me privily and apart from her husband, and having the
same fully explained to her, she, the said Marie Brown, acknowledged such
instrument to be her act and deed, and she declared that she had willingly
signed the same for the purpose and consideration therein expressed, and that
