HomeMy WebLinkAboutNo Address - Roadway Right-Of-Way & Drainage & Utility Easement - Hubert & Margaret Bales and W.R. & Mildred Glines • ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT DEED STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF GALVESTON) KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT WE, Hubert Bales and wife, Margaret Bales and W. R. Glines and wife, Mildred GLines, of Galveston County, Texas, in consideration of the sum of Ten ($10. 00) Dollars and other good and valuable consideration in hand paid by the City of Friendswood, acting through its duly elected council- man, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey our interests as revealed by the records in the County Clerk's Office, Galveston County, Texas, subject to the reservation hereinafter made, unto the City of Friendswood, the free and uninterrupted use, liberty, and privilege of the passage in, along, upon and across the following Lands in Galveston County, Texas, owned by us, to-wit: A tract of land out of Lot L and 2 Block 11 of the Friendswood Subdivision of the Sarah McKissick or J. R. Williams League, Galveston County, Texas, said tract running along the dividing Line between Lots 1 and 2 and extending a distance of 30 feet into Lots 1 and 2 and being described by metes and bounds as follows: Commencing at the South corner of Lot 1 Block 11 which point is also the East corner of Lot 2; thence Northeast along the Southeast boundry line of Lot 1 a distance of 30 feet to point for corner; thence Northwest parallel with the dividing line between Lots 1 and 2 a distance of 857 feet to the Southeast boundry line of a County Road to point for corner; thence Southwest along the Southeast boundry Line of said County Road a distance of 60 feet to point for croner; thence Southeast parallel with dividing Line between Lots 1 and 2 a distance of 857 feet to the Southeast boundry Line of Lot 2 to point for corner; thence Northeast along the Southeast boundry Line of Lot 2 a distance of 30 feet to the East corner of Lot 2 and the place of beginning. The Grantors herein except from this easement and reserve for themselves, their heirs and assigns, forever, all oil, gas and other minerals, in and under the Land covered by this easement, but said Grantors, for themselves, their heirs and assigns, waive all right of ingress and egress to and from the surface of the land covered by this easement for the purposes of drilling, mining, exploring or developing such minerals. . .. regress in, along, upon and across said premises for the purposes of making additions to improvements on, and repairs to the said road or highway, or any part thereof. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto the said City of Friendswood as afore- said for the purposes aforesaid the premises above described.
