Home My WebLink AboutFourth of July Steering Committee Minutes 2008-06-25June 25, 2008 FORTH OF JULY STEERING COMMITTEE A regular meeting of the Fourth of July Steering Committee was held on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the 2nd floor conference room, located at 910 S Friendswood Dr., Friendswood TX 77546, at which time the following subject will be considered. The Following members and staff were present at the meeting: Anthony Scarpa, Board Member Dan Morgan, Board Member Steve Pate, Board Member Stacy Scarpa, Board Member Michelle, Scarpa, Board Member Stefanie Scarpa, Board Member Corey Kirkland, Board Member Tony Fitzpatrick, Board Member Tommy McDonald, Board Member Renae Rives, Board Member Minh Tanita, Board Member Rachael Williams, Volunteer James Toney, Director of Community Service Michael Boyett, Staff Kimberly Ramirez, Staff Darrell Niedert, Staff Jeff Smith, Fire Chief Friendswood Volunteer Fire Department Josh Roger, Friendswood Police Department Dorothy Keichler, FISD Transportation Greg Milan, Universal Contractors 1. Call to order: The meeting was called to order at 6:24 p.m. 2. Communications from the public/committee liaisons: 3. Minutes: Dan Morgan made a motion to approve the minutes as corrected, Corey Kirkland seconded the minutes and the minutes were approved unanimously. 4. Parade: The board was informed that 87 parade applications have been received. FISD confirmed that they will transport the Knights of Columbus. Board will number streets on the evening of July 3rd. Parade participant requested for the horses coggins report be checked before they are allowed to participate in the parade. 5. Day program: Board was informed that 23 booth entries were received. Party Animals have been confirmed. 6. Evening program: Greg Milan was present to see where the fence will be set up and the portable toilets. Board went over time line for the evening program. Dorothy Keichler was present to go over bus drop off location. James Toney notified Board that their will be an electronic reader board at Clear Brook and FISD. 7.
